Ø   Rates

The rates here are based on a comprehensive survey of the pricing systems of dozens of translation agencies and individuals involved in the translation industry. Our rates are winningly reasonable and competitive, which serves to help our clients expand their business and meanwhile maintain a permanent, stable, win-win relationship with them.

I)   Rates for translation

Notes:  

1. All rates quoted are in US Dollars. Please refer to the Currency Converter for your country's currency.
2. All rates and word/character counts are based on the original source-language.
3. Discount and fixed rates are available for repeat and large job orders.
4. The above rates may vary depending on the difficulty (difficulty coefficient 10-30%) and urgency (urgency coefficient 10-100%) of the translation or document.
5. Word count is based on the one given by word-processing software (e.g. MS Word ).If Words of more than one language co-exist in the same text, the count shall be calculated separately.
6. Normal translation workload is 2000 English words/day/person. 
7. Provide a copy of monochrome or color laser printout and a diskette copy of the finished translation for free.
8. Provide any format of translated document as required.

II)   Rates for Interpretation (Unit: RMB/working day)

Notes:  

1. To guarantee interpretation quality, please provide as much background information concerning both parties and other relevant materials as possible.
2. Expenses covering transport, phone, hotels & meals are not included in the fees above.
3. To avoid possible disputes, please read Tips for Clients carefully before submit your order or assignment.
4. An extra 30% shall be charged for services performed on public holidays.

Ø   Payment

Notes:  

1. For overseas clients (especially fresh clients), a certain percentage (30-50%) of the pre-estimated charge (the final actual charge will be determined upon completion of the translation) is required.
2. Upon remittance of prepayment, you are expected to fax proof of remittance (e.g. bank remittance) to us (Fax: + 86 21 58958761).
3. Upon receipt of your proof, we shall proceed with translation at once.
4. Upon completion of translation, we shall notify you to remit the balance.
5. Upon receipt of proof of remittance, we shall deliver translated manuscript.
6. In case that any minor modification or collation on translated manuscript is needed, we shall do it for free, until you feel completely satisfied. However, newly added material shall be surcharged.
7. Our deposit bank is Shanghai Branch, China Merchants Bank. Any legal currency will be accepted, based on current exchange rates.
